Women Who See In The Dark
Release - Reset - Resource
This retreat centers around full body aliveness, emotional fluidity, creative power, and energetic integration of body-heart-soul.
We have observed that collectively women have internalized masculine qualities in a distorted way – through force, ambition, fight, comparison etc… This historical evolution has led to a superficial women’s “independence".
Often, being strong and independent disguises desire and pain, fear and competition, under the mask of auto-sufficiency. In truth, emotional values are not recognized, and vulnerability is hidden behind the need to prove strength.
Is there true satisfaction in your life? Are you feeling nourished and joyful? Do you enjoy the work you do?
Time to go deeper and reset!

A change of perception
Moving beyond labels and conditioning
WOMEN WHO SEE IN THE DARK brings a daily focus on the relationship between masculine and feminine energetic qualities inside of us and so often alienated from each other. This program brings a novel and powerful approach to these aspects, and invites creative collaboration between women.
These gatherings deepen heart and soul alignment to share a new vision of embodiment and resources. We focus on activating the flow of life force throughout the physical, emotional and energetic bodies, expressed in the polarities of male and female archetypes.
Each day centers around a core question, an inquiry that leads to deep reflections and is answered through an expressive process - poems, theater, touch, dance, painting and/or songs… These daily activities are framed by a morning practice with Tandava – Tantra Yoga, and evening Darkness Meditation.
We recognize the sensitivity and vulnerability of the masculine, feeling the inner masculine inside our own bodies-hearts standing in alignment with the feminine essence. As a result of this conscious interlink, it is easier to relate with others, men and women, from a grounded sense of healthy balance and appreciation. We keep weaving the connection between participants, bringing the integration of the mature masculine into our lives.
This process is an exploration into openness and receptivity, awareness and clarity. Facilitators offer suggestions and empowerment to recognize inner dynamics that may be hindering your emotional and soul expression, inviting fresh choices and interactions.
Will you join us?

When your eyes are tiredthe world is tired also.
When your vision has goneno part of the world can find you.
Time to go into the darkwhere the night has eyesto recognize its own.
There you can be sureyou are not beyond love.
The dark will be your wombtonight.
The night will give you a horizonfurther than you can see.
You must learn one thing:the world was made to be free in.
Give up all the other worldsexcept the one to which you belong.
Sometimes it takes darkness and the sweetconfinement of your alonenessto learn anything or anyone
that does not bring you alive is too small for you.

The Journey so far...
Launched in 2017, WOMEN WHO SEE IN THE DARK retreats have unfolded in Guatemala, Brazil, Prague, Israel, and France uniting women from 24 countries so far. Each location conveys a special imprint, and the growing web of women's vision calls the project forward. In 2019 events are planned in Croatia, Estonia, Ireland & California.
Each retreat co-creates a specific project related to specific themes emerging during the week. Our intention is to circulate a new level of creative power and integration uniting women around the world. Currently a film and a book entitled Women Who See in the Dark, as well as a series of children’s books are emerging. What will be coming out of the next retreats? Are you ready to add your unique visionary energy to the mix?
We are creating teams and inviting others to come into the facilitation for future retreats in different locations. After first time participation we explore possibilities, depending on your skills, and intentions.
The Women Who Saw In The Dark
From dance, to ritual, to presence, to radiance...
There was a deep authenticity in everything. The workshop just unfolded perfectly. The sisterhood in circle was such a highlight. This event will bring a very deep meaning that will grow inside you. It is like a seed tale. I am taking away deep receptivity into my life.
Discovering tools that expand my receptivity, as Tandava or dark meditation, has been a divine gift since then. Helping me to connect more with my passive feminine energy and surrendering more to the divine will. Also grateful for opening a space of deep work where everyone involved is a reflection of my soul.
I can only say that since then I cannot ignore or hide my shadows. I look at them and learn to accept and love them, and it helps me see and love them in others too.
Dear sisters, what a beautiful circle of women, beautiful stories, powerful sharing, wise experience that was given. The shadow work, art crafts, Tandava dance was such balance introspection. I loved walking in my masculine energy for a day. It made such an impact in my understanding of men.Thank you Komala and Araminta.
Taking time to look into what I've been storing as shadows and unpacking it under the guidance of Komala and Araminta triggered powerful changes in the way I experience life. I am more present, open, aware and compassionate. Forever grateful!
